Hmm, I get the impression that it was precisely because of Collingwood's criminal record that Nixon suggested not taking him. Whatever you say, we can all agree that Cousins is an impressionable man, who naturally can be led into messy situations. He's like petrol - can make your engine run beautifully, but leave him out with a few loose sparks (didak etc), and you've got trouble.

Personally, still not sold on this, but hey, if he DOES become a Saint, he'll have my complete support, and I truly hope - whatever happens - he can get his life back on track.

To be honest I agree with you Tassie. We all know St Kilda's history with this sort of stuff as well, we gotta be the worst team with trades/recruits after the Dockers. But they're the joke of the AFL afterall so it's not saying much really. Big risk to take, but we get a fair bit in return if it works out for us. TBH I'd rather see Steven and Armo play in front of Cousins but not looking likely just at the mintue.
