Portfolio HERITAGE ROUND - Back to origins

[RWB_Threads]

The AFL have decided to bring back Heritage Round - and to celebrate, the theme of the Round is 'Back to Origins' Round. Each club will wear the first kit they wore in their first game in the Competition. Each club will be encouraged to make their jumpers as vintage as possible, with some clubs even using sponsor's first logos or logos fitting the time these jumpers were first worn.

Here's a look at the match ups:

Saturday: Geelong VS Melbourne - MCG
Saturday Twilight: Fremantle VS West Coast - OPTUS

Sunday Early: Hawthorn VS Gold Coast - MCG

Friday Night - liked this match up as the jumpers are so similar but so different with their colours involved.

Saturday arvo at the G - these sides have to play one another but the clash policy might put a stop to that... or it won't given how selective they enforce it.

This is definitely my favourite match up with the old Ford, Zurich and Jaguar logos.

Love the Port jumper, but the back to their roots comment feels like a poor troll.

This started off as a rivalry round concept before I realised there were too many clashes. Only reason GWS aren't playing Gold Coast and not included in the round.

Gold Coast should have worn this their first match (sans the foundation members'* names).

NOTE: Again, designed prior to Hawthorn's new apparel sponsor arrangements - and the old ADIDAS logo looks good on there.

Poor attempt at a troll after a full week of having your best mate who supports Port talking about the Prison Bars. Sorry, I'm still scared from it.

Did you consider Gold Coast and GWS's first ever jumpers? When Gold Coast did not have the gold side panels in the VFL, and GWS starting as the Blue Team.

Very clean portfolio, really like that Heritage logo you'd made reminds me of the old Grand Final badges which is what I'm assuming you were going for. Keen to see what you do next mate

Its actually the old AFL State of Origin logo from the 90's

Awesome work, Surprised you went with XL & Classic instead of Caltex & NB. Old logo would have worked well too
