I would be surprised if he got a contract at another club. Who'd want a 30+ year old that turns to complete shit in finals intensity. That leaves shit clubs looking for experience and support for their youth. Well, Hodge, Lewis et al, he is not. We'll give him a 1 year extension out of pity because we don't want to see a 200 gamer finish that way. Same as we did with Thommo, but far less deserved.

As maligned as he is he was actually having quite a good season. We're not completely shot so far as finals goes and offers more in regards to two way running and kicking ability than Kelly does on a wing.

We'll let his contract lapse and not re-sign him. But, like Milton in Office Space, he'll still keep rocking up to training. And shit, then we'll just have to keep picking him even though he's not actually on our list because have you seen the form he's in on the training track?

"quite good" as in - still shit by any measure of what a half decent AFL wingman should look like but comparatively "ok" with his own form given the shit he's served up for years.

it's almost as ridiculous as his dropping last year for poor form then to not play sanfl and return the following week.

he simply does not demand a spot especially after a few weeks off injured. that is reserved for guns and mackay has only ever been in the best handful of players on the ground maybe once.
