Hello my bomber mates ...... a serious question.....

This weeks game is building tremendous excitement amongst all Hawk fans ive spoken too, there is an air of expectation and most are really looking forward to the match, i guess thats a mix of limited success in the last 5 or so years and a game against Hawthorns '80s nemises .....

Is there the same feeling among bomber fans, or is it just another final before the real thing next week? Really interested in your thoughts......

Oh mate...for me personally, it's just another "must-win" final. Football has change so much since the great rivalry, but don't get me wrong...i am really looking forward to this game. I've been anxious all week...and that is set to continue until the bounce of the ball on Saturday. I'm nervous as i always am around finals time. The importance of this match makes things worse.

But i'm off to the MCG in a little while to watch the boys train. Helps get my mind off things.

i have a definate case of finals fever
cant stop thinking about it, match ups running through my head etc
i dont know whether its the fact we are playing hawthorn or its just the fact that its a prelim

Well I 'spose it's a little different for me in that my family all barrack for the dons and my wife's all have the terrible misfortune (mother in law aside) to follow the hawks, so there's a more than a little at stake this week in our house!

Can't wait for it though!

Brisbane are the only side that bother me at the moment, and even then, they won't beat us at the 'G.
