Who do you think will kick the highest amount of Goals next year?

I think that Alistair Lynch will kick around 80 goals

My money is on Lloydy, but Tarrant could give him a shake if he plays full forward next season.

Fevola should kick a few more with some better delivery in 2004, if Lynch kicks more than 50 the juice has done it's job.

Tazza won't as he doesn't play close enough to goal. Barry Hall wants to play CHF next year and if he does that will leave him out.

Without any other decent forwards the Bombers always look for Lloyd which will make him favourite to win it again.

I think Fevola will be the only chance to beat him with the Blues influx of midfielders. Lynch will struggle next year, he's almost old enough for an OAP.

I will start by saying that we haven't seen Nathan Brown's best Football yet. I think his best Football will come within the next four years, and I think he will be very, very dangerous.

Next year's Coleman Medal standings should look (22 games):

1) Lloyd - 82 goals
2) Hall - 71 goals
3) N. Brown - 65 goals
4) Neitz - 64 goals
5) Lynch - 58 goals
6) Medhurst - 53 goals
7) Fevola - 52 goals
7) Matera - 52 goals
9) Tredrea - 50 goals
10) Tarrant - 49 goals

Fevola 7th, Come on Xie i thought you'd have more knowledge than that, So you are tipping Medhurst to finish on top of the Coleman medla standings at the end of season 2004? Are you feeling alright?

Hmmmm nice work--Nathan Brown 65 sounds acceptable

Add 35 from Ottens who was injured 2003 and possibly a few more from Richo who wont be tripled teamed and a more mature Krakour and now we might be getting somewhere.

When i first saw the title of this thread my one-eyedness came into the equation and i thought Richo could be a smokie, but as Labrooy said of Tarrant.. Richo plays too far from goal.

So Basically, Lloyd has to be clear cut favorite barring injury, after that really it will be team form and injuries that will determine who follows behind Lloyd.

*My Odds* for 2nd place after Llyod in the Coleman:

Barry Hall, $1.45

Alastait Lynch, $1.50

David Neitz, $1.80

Nathan Brown, $2.50

Warren Tredrea $2.50

Fevola, Richardson,
Tarrant, Rocca,
John Brown, $3.50

Ottens, Medhurst,
Matera, Goodes $4.50

Hird, Carey $7.00

*Disclaimer*
Please understand these are not real odds and i am not offering anbody a bet or advocating gambling. This is done as pure speculation and if if i could offer my gut feeling top work out odds then these are it.
I also realised halfway through writing it that some gambling agency probably has the correct odds, but i didnt look there anyway...as i dont advocate gambling, remember??? McFly??
No doubt i have missed some players who deserve to be in there, or is there a youngster ready to take a huge step up next year (possibly a 'Ainter)?
For those who may find it offenssive if i left ur favorite player out (boo hoo) then..

uhm then you...

you can *disclaimer edited for inappropriate use of the term collingwood*

Sorry Ed

No! I am tipping him to finish 6th.

I am also tipping that Fevola will have the second most amount of shots on target, if that's any consolation for you.

I think Mathew Lloyd, Barry Hall, and Fraser Gehrig (depending on st.kilda's form) will kick the most.

Most people have forgoten about Gehrig. He kicked 55 goals this year from about 15-17 games (played full back at start of year).

Exactly right, Fraser. Gehrig has been ignored by most, 55 is a reasonable effort for a guy who had huge success in the backline over his career.
He may not win the Coleman, but he'll get close.
Llyod, or anyone for that matter, will get nowhere close to 150, or even 100, the game has evolved past players scoring 10 goal + hauls every week and the big full forward who kicks all the goals. The game has moved past them. Hudson and Skilton (I think) will hold that record for a while yet, I think.
