I didn't think it was a broken leg...

It's what they're saying on 3aw.
Triple M are not saying anything and don't seem to think that it's to serious.
I mean he's on crutches but nothing about a broken leg?

Hope you're right. Scott Cummings said they heard a snap. Wonder where he got his info.
Probably when he sat back in his chair.
Fletcher with a groin, Slattery with a groin and Demsey with a possible cracked fibula bone or something to that effect according to MMM.
I think Slats is alright.
Fox Sports think its his calf
Poor Dempsey just cant take a trick
This is becoming a joke.
For all his talent (and he has bucket loads), unless he can get his body right, he is just a wasted spot on our list.
We really need to look at the types of players we draft. Too many injuries to younger players.
If the same happens next year you've got to wonder if he has the body to play AFL football.
He reminds me of Paul Lynch who played for Geelong. He had similar smarts and skills to Mercs, but could never ever stay fit.
A real shame as players like that are what we need in the game- exciting skillful and smart.
you get a crack noise when you tear your achilles tendon.
thats my suspicion - terrible injury.
Agree totally! We cant afford to keep having Courtney on our list anymore. His body will never get right. Getting injured every 2nd game! He runs & just breaks! Time to cut our losses.
