He was giving the ball a thump. Should be O'K.

Don't worry, I'm sure Zantuck will come in next week to play against his old club...! How many times do you think he'll pump his chest out and flex his biceps for the cameras???

4 weeks for the big fella.

If Zantuck comes in, the Bombers are in trouble.

imagine this line in defence: Lovett-Murray, Zantuck, Murphy.

He was rested. Has been smashed around this year. Had bleeding in the lungs against the swans and has been carrying some other knocks for the last few weeks so they decided to rest him. Slattery was left out as he had a calf. Not that either of them would have made a difference anyway. Must have been a record for uncontested marks last night.

The Bombers shouldn't be allowed any more Friday or Saturday games for the next 2 years

I reckon it was bad, regardless if he gets suspended or not.
He was frustrated, he'd just been in an altercation in the middle of the ground, ran straight to the contest and smashed him.

Hille has been great since he came back in, one of the reason's we started playing good footy. But his performance on Sat night and that act in particular is not what you want from a leader and our number one ruckman.

I would like to know what his intentions were if it wasn`t putting Hales nose on the other side of his face

Laycock will go too

From the tv angle I had at home (long story), Hille's intention was at the ball being thrown in. He missed the ball and the punch followed through.

Laycock was clumsy and reckless, as he took his eyes off the ball. Might get a week, but, that would be all.

Hille has been given two weeks, Laycock no case to answer.

IMO we were lucky in both cases.
Stafford has been given two weeks, so that probably even's things up a bit this week.

Cartledge definately has the goods to take it to Knobel and if he plays anything like he did last week, he could exploit him around the ground.
