Hille

Can anyone who has been watching the reserves tell me how David Hille is going? With the ruck position our biggest weakness (not that it is that bad), I would have thought he would have been in line for a call up given our recent injury/suspension problems.

yeah he has missed a couple of games, had an ankle injury over preseason and hasnt really recovered fully
played really well the last few games, definatly in the best players
his fitness isnt at the level to ruck out full games so he has shared it around with lalich, pods, and even sheppard last week

he has also gone forward and been a great target

probably once his fitness is right he will definatly pushing for a game, his tap work has been unbelievable, continually puts the ball into the laps of the rovers

Sheedy said today on Triple M (I think) that Hille was pushing for a game as he has been amongst the best in the VFL. I think he will probably only get a game if we have injuries to key big men, because I don't think Sheeds will drop either Barnes or Alessio
