He's gonna be a player. Instrumental in Swan Districts win over Subiaco. His hands are very clean. Not the best kick though, but exceptional pace, swoops on the loose ball and is 5 steps clear before you know it.

We have a number of players that have good attributes other than kicking, headed by Peake and Hinkley. Palmer needs a bit of suring up as well.

We need a specialist kicking coach to make sure all of these young players are as on top of this area as possible, and that their other attributes are utilized to to their full potential at AFL level.

The times I have seen him, his kicking generally has been pretty good. But it is inconsistent rather than bad.

Laces out pass to Garlett in the last quarter today was great and pretty typical of what I expect to see from him consistently eventually.

Was a little scrappy for 3 quarters today, got turned very easily by Slowfield at one stage, and didn't chase. But his last quarter was superb. He, Wolfendon and Garlett won the game for them in that quarter.

Looks to have put a bit of weight on since I last saw him as well... which is fantastic and means he is working hard. :thumbsu: Expect him to play a few more games from here on for the rest of the year, and be there from round 1 next year. :):thumbsu:

Hinkley played well but Garlett was super impresive.
He looms as a good replacement for the Wiz.
Very god game of WAFLtoday.

Was Hinkley playing in the 44 jumper as advertised? I was at the ground for the last quarter but didn't spot him. I don't know what he looks like well enough to pick him without a Dockers jumper on :)

I'd say Seamus Young is a smoky for his replacement as well. Nearly ran 16 on the beep test a week back, and is one of, if not the fastest footy player in WA right now.

Has been very very good for Perth. Outshone Ballantyne when they last played by an absolute mile. A very rare person in deed to be so incredibly fast in the sprints, as well as so good over long distances.

Our skills coach does a pretty good job, the reason we are missing targets and soda infront of goal is above the shoulders, not to do with the kicking motion, our guys kick well when there is 0 pressure.
