Hogan and Neale both offered 5 year deals on a million dollars a year, I think you will find that their value is closer than you think

Or that we won't know the true extent of his condition until well after trade period. Add in the incredibly high asking price I'd say it's in our best interests to be conservative and see if Melbourne are willing to compromise with their counter offer.

belly does not suffer fools gladly . Melbourne know exactly that Freos offer is fair and on the money .
I reckon Belly has the countery in him to offer Gold Coast 11 for May to really rattle the cage of Melbourne

Melbourne asked a pretty high price, freo lowballed, not expecting a deal but perhaps a comeback offer.

No doubt the 2 teams will try to find a middle ground, they might not find it, but its nothing about respect/ disrepect, its purely business where every team wants value.
