We have a Motor Board here on BigFooty, yet the eternal question has yet been asked?

Are you are a supporter of:

a) The most brilliant looking motor vehicles in the world Holdens, or

b) The most ugly looking rust buckets Fords.

Cast your vote, and remember - your vote will determine how many insults will fly your way!:D

Often they have a man in a little yellow van looking under the bonnet. :p

Depends on what state you live in. We had a trip up to the Sunshine Coast late last year (which is a 2 hour trip on a good day) and we were playing "Spot the Broken Down Fords on the Bruce Highway". Including the return trip, we got upto about 7 Fords, a couple of 4WD and amazingly, NO HOLDENS!!:D

And to the person who voted Holden (I was only 1 of them:D ) Well Done!

Ford.

Basically they are just better. BA, GT etc etc owns just anything on the street. The fuel consumption is also lower ( just read the "MOTOR" magazine ) ;)

Oh did I say i picked Ford... over Holden?

In conclusion, Ford for me.

I picked Ford..

Had to be said.:D :D

How did i know that one was coming :D

At least Ford look more competitive. Stone Brothers are strong, FPR will get there in time, Junior Johnson impressed - just needs a new teammate.

Thats true - I wasn't feeling very good after Saturday that's for sure.

Max Wilson is a good driver, but he's not yet got the hang of a V8 car. It was also good to see Steve Johnson do so good until his little "malfunction".

I was really impressed with Paul Weel - he's been struggling in a Ford for a couple of years, but put him into a half decent car and the kid looked good.

All looks good for Phillip Island in 3 weeks.

Yeah what happened to Wilson??? Did somthin fall from the spectator bridge???

A part of Simon Wills Dunnydore came off and its believed to have hit the walkway above pit straight, then bounced off it and crashed through Max's windscreen. He's lucky he had a run off area straight ahead.

Ford

Ford are brillant,

This is FORD country and on a quite day you can hear the holdens rusting.

Well, for me personally, I prefer the V8 with more Australian content than either Ford or Holden....(and I'm sure you know what I'm talking about).

:D

However, had an HR Holden that was nothing but trouble, and (still) have an XR Falcon wagon (Nov 1966 build date) that is one of THE best cars I've ever had.

So, Ford for me between the two.

As for the SuperCars, what difference does the label on the front make? They may as well call them Nascars and have done with it.

What would you take:

The new BA Falcon - the safest Australian built car
or
The new VY Dunnydore - the second safest

I was always taught that first is better than second.....
