with the first announcement of acts this past thursday morning, i can't believe there's no thread!

from ABC, i'll quote the most important paragraphs, because i'll assume the copy and paste crackdown exists here...

they were SO CLOSE to this being awesome! i initially got very excited, because with headliners in jet, the finger and tim finn, it seemed as though there were going for some slightly older rock n roll fans for their 15th anniversary - and thus less idiot 18yo teeny boppers

then they went and put short stack in the line up :(:o:rolleyes:

overall, i love the line up. i love powderfinger, tim finn, and the hoods. i loooove Sia, and was so hoping she'd be out for the festivals this year. and there is so much awesomeness down the list. sarah blasko, phrase, the funkoars - i love all these acts.

there's a lot more too - but i find that before festivals its best not to get excited about too much, because you know you're going miss some things with set clashes.

i've already signed up on the homebake site... not that it helped me last year... but fingers crossed for this year. i'd pay the hundred bucks just for sia and the hoods i think.

Dissapointing, might go because it is a really good festival, less ****wits than a BDO, but crowded house and you am i last year were better than any band on this list. Tumbleweed would be cool, Blasko wouldnt be bad either and Hilltop are alright but i was really hoping for some of the Homebake veterans to be back, the likes of Frenzal Rhomb, The Living End, Bodyjar, the Gurge, hell getting TISM revived would've been better than underground lovers.
