To think that Walker is still only just 20 years old, yet he has managed to outshine some of the games current greats. Simpson still only 22. It is so wonderful the amount of talent we have on our hands now, compared with where we were 5 years ago.

Hope you're right as I have feeling optimistic at this time of the year for the last few nd hasn't quite worked out as hoped. There is a certain confidence from all the latest recruiting and list management activities that have gone on so here's hoping for a quick return to te glory days...

Not a return just yet, but certainly better times.

The fact that we now have Ratts and Braddles, and Libba and Dempsey who are staying with certain boys after training, to work one-on-one with the extra skills and practice is great to hear.

Definitely, we've cleared most of the dead weight of our list - now all that's left is to wait for wait for the youngsters to develop and play consistent footy. Good times ahead for Blues fans, although 2007 could not be a huge improvement ladder-wise, improved consistency and young guns should provide hope for the future.

Look what happenned to Melbourne when he arrived, and then when he left. Ratts made their midfield what it is today. The guy is going to have as much, or more, impact as the senior coach this year.

he's made such an impact already - just his little one-on-one chats with the players after training.

I'm very very happy we have Braddles, Ratts, Dempsey even Crosisca at our club.

With the young talent we have, you wouldn't want it in any other hands. Let's not forget Libba was an awesome player too.

It can only be a Huge PLus for us Look at the calibre of players we have tutoring our young boys - some best and fairests, some brownlow medalists, some GF players, some all time games record holder....

Exactly right CBD.
Ratts was credited with alot at Melbourne when he was there, and with Bradley by his side this time, who knows what these 2 former greats can instill into our kids.
