Has anyone with a hotmail account noticed the new changes to the mail system?

You can now only sort by date of email sent, not by name (which is how I had it). It has also increased to allow 250mb of inbox space. I don't know if there is anymore changes, however if anyone does know how to get back the name sort, please say.

They are obviously now using the same type of hardware that Gmail is using for there 1gig accounts. I have 1gig gmail account and a 250mb Hotmail account. Its sick.

Combined I have over ten gig in email space. Awesome.

If they were serious about stopping spam there'd be no limit, or a more intelligent option like using SpamNet to tag possible spam.

I WANT MY UPGRADE! Stamps feet angrily...

I remember getting an email about this a while ago (to join up to the 250mb). I thought you had to join, but they are obviously giving it to everyone. So be patient or go and sign up for it. ;)

Well I didn't sign up for it, my current account was upgraded without me doing anything. Not sure if my other hotmail account has caught up yet so it's probably just a matter of patience RooBunny, you'll get it. :)

But what do you actually need that much space for?

It's a secret ;)
