Don't get me wrong I hope him and Jess do well in the show (and round 1 show they have potential to go deep into the series), but how do you end up with a mouldy dive that qualifies for House Rules on an AFL salary?

Yeah I can't believe it really, you would have thought he would of been on 300k at one point of his career. kinda annoying as I believe the show should be for the real battlers..........

Apart from a couple last season, I don't think any contestants on this show could be called battlers. Jared's house was a mess because he's a bloke who doesn't give a crap about how his place looks or bothers much to keep clean. Just because he was on a high income while playing football doesn't automatically mean he spent it wisely, or brought a million dollar mansion. A lot of these guys piss it away on crap.

I'm a fan of Drew. Quality no nonsense judging, experienced and knows what he's talking about (so do the others) but similar to the block they're all to cliched and wanky and trying way to hard with the one upmanship.
