He's trying to insinuate that we're getting too excited for our own good, and that if we win next week we'll 'explode' from all the energy we'll have.

When Eagles played Brisbane, apparantly they were at full strength. Forget the fact Lynch was out and Leppa got injured, as did Bradshaw. Not to mention the other players that were also out when Eagles played them. He's suggesting our win isnt as good as theirs, because we beat an undermanned side? Yes, they were more undermanned when we played them, but we also beat them by an extra 56 points, I think that compensates.

You need to do a little creative punctuation correction here. He suggests that in big games we crumble. Just like we did in the Final last year against the Dons. He seems to ignore the fact last year we won our fair share of big games. Not to mention the last 2 derbies, were they big enough for you mate?

Apparently the only players who played well today were Medhurst and Farmer. How they managed to go about prooving their critics wrong beats me, didn't even know that word existed. Maybe when the Eagles spine prooooooves their critics wrong we'll get another educated post like this.

Yep, Voss was severely underdone, Leppitsch got injured early on, Bradshaw got injured in the warmup, Caracella got injured in the 3rd quarter, and they were missing Lynch, Chris Scott, White, Keating and McDonald.... their win was so much better.
