The nominees as forwarded to the AFL by the clubs, are in for the AFL MVP award. Each club's players vote for the following:

2 players for the MVP (Leigh Matthews Award)
1 player for the Most Courageous (Robert Rose Award)
1 player for the Best First Year player


The votes are then collated and forwarded to the AFL. The winners in each category from each club become the representatives from their club, and are the players nominated for each award. The winners will be selected by the votes submitted by all players.


Just to remind you of the winners in each of the categories for our BF Freo POTY awards:

Winner: Pav
R/U: Belly
"Trenches" award: Solly
"Young Bloke" award: Big Nockers
