How close was Lonergan from being suspended this week ?

He got Bateman with a knee to his leg .Absolutely stupid thing to do and i thought he is gone for 2 weeks .I hope the Bombers players dont copy Lonergan .

Lonergan was making a legitimate effort to tackle Bateman. The last thing on his mind would've been to try and cork Bateman.

And heres another question to put out there. If the player of the likes of McVeigh, McPhee or Welsh did the hit on Selwood like Goodes did, how many weeks do you think they would get.

There was nothing in it. Welsh, however, is lucky not to be caught by one of many cameras, as he was definitely interfering with Mitchell behind play.

Man, I cannot believe Goodes got away with ANOTHER one. Compare his (running past the ball) to McPhee's earlier in the year, when he clearly tried to pull up, the guy bent down and contact was minimal.... but he still got a week. MRP/Tribunal are a joke (again/still).
