Thought the Cats would rest more players

They will absolutely spank the Crows
Hope this is the one game the Cows play above themselves and win, will take the motivation away to do it to us.

Gibbs had a very good career.

But he could have had a great one.
I'm sure he now wishes he stayed at CFC, had a slider of a year his last year with us .... shame what happened to him. But getting out of his heavily front loaded contract with us is why the footy gods probably looked un favourable on him. Saying that after the first year where the trade failed he gave us a very very good last year in blue.

What's the difference between the Crows and a rectangle? A rectangle has 4 points 😅.

If the Crows go winless this year, they will have very nearly gone 365 days without a win if the season was played with the original fixture list lol. Adelaide’s last win was on August 3, 2019 and their original Round 18 match was scheduled on July 19, 2020. I think that just makes this all the more hilarious because of the 11 weeks off from Round 1 to Round 2 if they go winless.

I've liked what I have seen from Hamill this year as well.

Schoenberg also looks pretty promising.

If one is to be brutally honest, the Crows actually have better kids than Collingwood. Cannot thing of one promising/legit kid The Filth have unearthed since Stephenson (jury still out on Daicos)

They are in deep doo doo once Pendlebury and Sidebottom retire

Based on our history, a 'good ordinary player' imports notions of a standard higher than 'a player'; refer the Buzz. On that basis is he likely to be 'a good ordinary player'? If so then the Crows did well out of the McG deal.

I do not think he is going to be the Jack Dyer version.
Alwyn Davey to Jeff Garlett type level is my guess on what I seen so far.
Was hoping he could be like a Gilbert or Adrian but not seen that type of kit bag with this guy.

That's a decent standard. I'd love to have a Jeffy type at the Blues right now.

Welcome to this week's edition of "Damning Statistics", a segment that causes the reader to laugh at the Adelaide Football Club. In this edition, we look at points for and against:

* The Crows have scored just 579 points in 13 games, an average of 44.5 points per game. The next worst is Fremantle - however the Dockers have only played 12 games. I'm fairly sure that Liverpool will score more goals than Adelaide in the upcoming EPL season.
* Yesterday against Geelong, Adelaide became the first team in 2020 to concede 1000 points. They've now conceded 1055, at an average of just over 81 points per game. North Melbourne can join them on that total tonight if they concede 232 points against Collingwood - which seems about as likely as Taylor Walker's quest to win the Coleman Medal. The Bulldogs have the next worst defence, but they've conceded a whopping 234 points less than Adelaide. Safe to say that the Crows' back 6 leak worse than Donald Trump's cabinet.

I thought the Crows scoring at an average of 44.5 PPG was going to be the funniest stat. But then I got to the part where Fremantle would need to concede 232 points tonight to reach Adelaide in points conceded.

All I‘ve got is Taylor Walker and Eddie Betts are the two top goal kickers on the Crows payroll with 11 goals each. Eddie Betts has kicked 2 goals in the last 6 rounds.

Quaynor will be a gun.

So Adelaide won the Gibbs trade?

"Initially selected by Carlton as a mature-aged pre-draft access pick, Shane McAdam was quickly traded to the Crows in 2018..."

NAHHHHH!!!!

That was part of the Mitch McGovern trade..
