How far away is Daniel Connors?

Having only seen the one Coburg game this year I am curious to know how Daniel Connors is progressing. How far away is he from challenging for senior selection? (I realise he was selected on the six man interchange against Freo).

Is there a noticeable difference in his fitness this year compared to others? We have all seen what an injection of youth into the side has done when balanced with our more reliable senior players.

Our best yesterday: Richardson, Tambling, Simmonds, Newman, King, Polak, Deledio.

A good mix.

Still I would like to see Connors playing soon. Whose spot could he conceivably take? We are still short on aggression. I'm referring the aggression it will take to match it with Geelong and Hawthorn.

Was good on the weekend but fitness a problem after another interrupted preseason. Definitely has the skills to be a good player, just needs a case of the Foleys.

Daniel is still a way off yet! After his interupted pre season he is struggling for fitness at VFL level and would have no chance at AFL level. once he gets some games under his belt, he should be a good addition to the richmond side
