Tonight performance was absoloutely terrific. Essednon beat one of the best in the competition on their home ground. Brilliant result. How far do you think Essendon can go this season. My prediction is 4th at the end of the normal season.

I think we'll be around the 8, probably just sneak in i think. Im stoked about the development of Ryder and Winderlich stepping up this season. All i'd like now is to see some of our in and under mids coming through eg. Hislop and Lonergan ect. If we got at least on of those mids into our best 22, i'd be more than pleased with the development of our side.
I think we shouldn't get too ahead of ourselves here. Yes, it was a great win, but we have to play more consistently. We usually win the tough match against the top teams, then get slaughtered the next. Hopefully we can continue our good form and knock off the Eagles. If we win our next 2 (And that is a very big if), we'll be 8-4 and then we can look at a top 4 position.

A Great Win!!! I ask you was the last 6 mins of the Dreamtime game the turning point of our season? When Richo put Richmond 18 pts up last week with 7 mins to go i left my lounge room in disgust! To win to very close pressure games in a row is fantastic! We showed alot of heart tonight in Sydney. We were the better team all night in my opinion. Next week is even a bigger test against West Coast It's starting to come together now for us. Top 4 would be Fantastic but i reckon between 5th and 8th.
When in the last few years have we done that?
The last time I remember knocking off top teams in tight matches was when we were a top team.
Aside from that, valid point, let's keep our feet on the ground. Good win but a tough win and we're going to see just how the boys are travelling against West Coast next weekend.
Let's go about securing a spot in the eight first.

I hope it was a turning point because since then has been fantastic. As long as this forms continue, Essendon can go a long way.

We still have the reigning premiers and then Port at AAMI. We could be looking at 7-6 at the break, or even 6-7 if Melbourne continue to improve.
I thought the break was round 11.

They will, iv'e been saying to mates that as soon as they get all their player's back from injury they will start winning games, and i am still confident this will happen.
