True. Goodesy hits targets once in a while, that's the big difference. Would love to see him become known as "triple Brownlow Medallist Adam Goodes". That would be fitting given his dedication to the club and his closeness to the legendary TBM Skilts.

I'm as one eyed as the best of them but you've got to be kidding to try to play off anyone against Judd - the guy is an out and out champion of the highest order and anyone who was at the last two grannies would attest to his class. Goodes is up there but no one is 'better' than Judd.

I'd be willing to put 200 large on Judd winning another Brownlow and Goodes not really getting close again. The BEST player in the league, there's roughly 600 guys on a list and maybe 50 who have the ability to one day take it home. If Goodes wins a third he's a legend, no doubt. But I think Judd is a bigger star with more ahead of him.

Goodes was so good this year and so inspirational that I believe he could win again. If his knees hold up and he can keep running and exploiting that huge engine of his there is a strong chance he will go down as one of the greatest Swans ever. The guy is not as young as Judd but is if anything at the peak of his career. Judd is an absolute freak, that's true but if Goodes can play a few more seasons like last year's he will at the very least go close again.

Yup, me too. I don't care about the Brownlow though, just aslong as he gets the one that really counts aswell.

I was going to reply with something very similar... judd is 'THE PROLIFIC BALL WINNER'... i've watched him very closely in the last few years - esp in the last 2 GF's, as any other swans supporter i concentrate on what our guys do & who's gettn their hands on the ball & who's around the packs.... regardless of the traffic around him, judd just somehow finds the ball & sprints off leaving his opponents behind... lightening quick! (his other half aint bad either!
