Things i liked in patches:
1. Our forward line looked open with plenty of space (haven't seen that in a long time)
2. McCartin taking marks down the ground ala Sam Reid. It takes a lot of pressure off having a strong marking presence
3. We at least tried to be more accountable in the forward half defensively- didn't always work. Papley is still not 100% right. We look sharper with both Paps and Hanily in the forward half.

Things i didn't like:
1. Play-on calls for 20 metre kicks
2. Making Meek and Scrimshaw look AA
3. Composure of some players under pressure, fumbles, panic kicks, missed tackles.
4. Warner Jnr - looks to often get the easy mark, handball. Needs to get amongst it more.
5. I watched Warner Snr closely, his defensive accountability needs to improve. Runs well heading towards goal, doesn't look so energetic running the otherway to help out
6. Why are we so hopeless in centre clearances. Has been 3-4 years of being towelled up now. Grundy needs to try something new or give Ladhams a good go at it to see what he can do. At least he can rest in the forward line unlike Grundy.

Coaches votes:

Sydney v Hawthorn

10 Will Day (HAW)
7 Karl Amon (HAW)
6 James Sicily (HAW)
5 Sam Wicks (SYD)
1 Nick Blakey (SYD)
1 Chad Warner (SYD)
Depressing thing is that another who was giving us a bath and was on track to be in the votes (Worpel) didn't even play the entire second half.

This is a kid friendly forum buddy. We don't want those innocent minds exposed to this sort of content.

Was talking housework haha nothing more. Wish it were more interesting but it’s as boring as anything this week

Not the door to door salespeople I hope.

Nope same field as my old job just closer to my new home that’s all less travel same money makes sense. Plus get Fridays off 😂

About right except maybe Amon not quite that good. Meek should have been there instead.

Amon was the best winger not surprised. He smashed us on the outside whoever was on him was on holidays

Yeah I'd be curious to know the logic behind the decision to spoil, rather than mark. If there is a logic.

I wonder what has a proven track record of netting better results - attempting a mark, spilling it & trying to gather it at ground level, or punching it away to territory where you might be outnumbered, potentially leading to a repeat entry.
It is my firm opinion that the double fisted spoil is the harbinger of doom that shows the defender is badly lacking confidence. Almost always indicates a loss.

Just choose to support family businesses rather than buying single use crap thats made by children in chinese sweat shops.
The fella at west Ballina is excellent for fishing gear, The old army disposal shop in Ballina central is great for camping gear and theres a couple of boat shops in the industrial estate that sell quality stuff.
Buy from these businesses and your boating camping and fishing trips are always fun

Also had a decent contract funded by BCF to re-establish mangroves in Evans river after the 2020 floods. A third of the way through BCF pulled the funding. Not one mangrove was established, the mud crabs are hungry, the fish are gone and the fishos are furious. These current floods are only gonna make things worse

I understand that some people get off on catching jingles.. small minds I guess
Apologies, I meant no offence. I wasn’t having a go at your initial comment, either about the swans or BCF, about which I have no strong feelings.

You are indeed correct that my small mind saw a cheeky opportunity to have a bit of fun with the BCC tag line, and that was the extent of my feeling.

Also, sorry to hear that they pulled funding on the good work you were doing post the floods.

Our defence was under massive pressure and he had a mates like Rampe who was ordinary and has gone on a year too long . Willing to give him a let off , but if it happens often i'd have a worry

My issue is I hate it full stop. I’d rather concede a goal trying to mark it than punching it to no mans land which only ends one way anyway. Take note how Sam Taylor plays

Agree.
How many of us on here are coming to the Bucks night , the King will pick me up on the way

Probably a few be honestly quite small, think I’m heading to our game against the Pies in Melbourne (11th April think it is) having that weekend away as a so called “weekend”. I actually rather do that and catch up with a few of you guys in Mel.
