There are a lot of opinions about who should play where, but if you were picking the team for R1, how many talls would you have, and where would they play (or start at least)? People have said we could play Darcy, Bandy and Minson, or even Darcy, Street, Bandy and Minson, but there are only so many spots available. If we had, say, 2 key defenders, plus a third tall defender, a CHF, FF, tall FP, maybe a tall HFF (Bandy or Bowden), a ruckman, how many talls on the bench? Hargrave could play as a flanker, as could Bowden, but top-heaviness becomes an issue. Personally, I would like to see (initially) FB - Harris, CHB - Skipper or Rawlings, third tall defender - Hargrave, CHF - Skipper or Rawlings, HFF - Bandy, FF - Grant, FP - Bowden, Ruck - darcy, IC - Minson. If we are too top heavy, a tall could come out of the forward line to the bench. Would make it hard to match up on all our tall forwards, and they are all mobile (even Grant after some of his chases on Sat!! - not bad for an old bloke). Any comments??
