Where did you get the VFA Shield from????

I got it from a photo from an eBay auction... had to try and cut around it. Still not 100% happy with it but it's close enough.

Was that Paint or Powerpoint in the tutorial?

Did they gay up Paint in a new version?
First few screenies are Vista Paint.

The rest are just PowerPoint 03.

Kinda new at this but this is my effort. I have it on good authority that this 'Demon' will be a side kick logo to the new MFC logo. Not the shield of course, just the demon.

Amateur hour but, hey, it was fun:D

Where's that plane been flying all this time mate?

It needs to land at Essendon asap.

The font for the team name is Helvetica 75 Bold.
Depending on the team, the letters are spaced so that they fit across the middle of the logo.
EG CARLTON FOOTBALL CLUB takes up less space than NTH. MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB, so there is less space between the letters on North.

I've uploaded the font in an rar file. Get WinRAR to unpack it to your Windows>Fonts folder.

From the 20s to the early 60s the Football Record was owned and run by a third party, before the VFL bought it back under their control in the late 60s.

During the early 60s the Footy Record had logos for each team.
This is Melbourne's 1962 logo on the 70's template.

Is the person responsible for that still alive?

I sense another logo resource arising... where can we see all these old club logos?

Best place for non-official logos is Damien Green's website.
http://members.optusnet.com.au/~dgreen2/

I won't be expanding on logos on my site as it becomes impossibe to draw a line.
Silk Cloth bookmarks, Petrol station promotions, food manufacturers, banks for starters.
All associated themselves with VFL clubs, made their own mascots/logos, and can be seen on Damien's site.
However, as unofficial, I have not included them.
