looks like the scum are learning from each other, howard and bush, cash for comments mark 2.

just as laws and co were protected by Proffessor FINK, no doubt this piece of slime will be equally protected.

What does that have to do with Howard? I think it's laughable that you think someone else would be doing a better job than him. Our economy has never been so strong, and our country is on the way up.

Quit being a little sook.

LOL. The foundations are rotten. Just keep on maxing out those credit cards. It'll be your problem, not Howard's - he'll be retired.

The thing that makes me laugh the most is that you obviously think someone else would be doing a better job.... who?

nice try for a topic change when you know your man is fundamentally criminal on this issue.

criminal?
You are a joke. You obviously don't agree with his policies etc, but that does not make him criminal. If you honestly think that someone else would have done things differently, re: iraq etc, you are quite simply a moron. And if such things were conducted differently, there would be a much greater detrimental effect on Australia than anything to date has had.

Well, yeah I do, but I have different priorities to the Liberals and their supporters. What, however, has that got to do with your first statement that the 'economy has never been so strong'?

That's your second attempt at a redirect on this thread. What's next? Asylum seekers? Unions? Native title? I can't see that what Dan posted has anything to do with Howard, but your squirming is nonetheless laughable.

I read that our trade deficit is getting worse. Maybe some areas of the economy do need fixing up.

I am always surprised that there is no mention, when the economic turnaround is discussed, the work that Keating did from 1993 to 1996, to get the ball rolling so to speak..whilst I can accept that Howard and Costello have done well, why aren't Liberal supprters prepared to accept that had Keating not taken the steps he did in 1993, it would have been an even harder task.

I dont think it would be moronic to think that issuses such as Iraq may have panned out differently. What makes you so steadfast in your belief that Australia was destined to fight in this war when practically no one else in the world did. We are not the only country which wannts a string US alliance.

Its thinking like this which destroys democeracy. Sure, Labout may not have done much better, but if we are willing to accept anything a government throws at us on the basis that the opposition 'probably wouldnt have dont anything different' then public oppinion becomes irrelevant. Nothing would ever change and governments will simply become more and more corrupt.

Should have stopped there...that was all that needed to be said

Plenty of people would and could do a better job. Yes Australia is doing ok..but what about 20 years from now?

Howard was mentioned in the first post, therefore it is relevant.
I fail to see how you think there are people better suited to the job. Compared to a lot of past leaders, he is doing a good job.

You can be anti liberal, I really don't care...
Our country is doing fine.

The straw you are drawing is so long it is encoiled in your lower intestinal tract.

Apparently if you read the article backwards it says "CRICKET" hence the connection with Howard!

Costello for a start - we would have all the economic benefits without the right wing moral crusading.
