I mentioned his game in the match thread, but will probably get over looked in all the excitement.

I thought he was awesome in that last quarter. There was one ruck contest from a throw in where he got the tap, followed up his own tap and punched it forward again, then dove on the ball and held the Pies up.

Very inspirational stuff. Love the bloke.

Yep this guy should be a Crow for the next 4-5 years.

He will be leading the rucks in our third premiership.

Quality, and a booming kick.

I simply love him. He is inspitational. When the ball hits the ground he follows up and he gets involved in general field play.

His actual ruckwork is not great but his overall game is inspirational.

Long live the Rock :D

Terrific, for a new player to show that much heart in a close one was inspirational, Clarke should be in charge of teaching Meeson, Maric and co how to tap, Hudson in charge of teaching them everything else!

Sen-bloody-sational!

Yeah proud (only because he will retire this year) that we didn't miss Clarkey today. Great to see Huddo & Rhett taking control.

Useless player. Never thought he would amount to much. :)

Always loved the way has played, super competitive

Biglands rucked better than Hudson today and palmed the ball better to the midfield at ballups - so why did Hudson get the majority of the gametime whilst Biglands was on the bench - because of his inspirational efforts around the ground :)

Whats is forgotten with his great efforts is the fact that he is a very very clever footy player (considering he's only been playing footy for 4 years) and he is adored obviously by his team mates :)

Did a great job in the last when he was forced to ruck for most of the quater with Rhett going forward.

It was a great move by NC because when all of a sudden had a contest up forward.

I wouldn't go as far to say that he is a classy player but he has the heart of an Ox and will give a contest everytime he is near the pill. He is fearless and must be an inspiration for some of the other blokes that have played footy for all of their lives.

However the facts are he needs to be hard at it, he does not have a leap like Jeff White or the skills of a Keating. But you have to tip your hat to him.

Great effort yesterday. 15 possies to add to his 11 hit outs. Helps out everywhere. I ruckman who gets possesions around the ground. Second efforts are great. Will help us build around him with the younger players.

The bloke is a legend, he is close to my favourite player now behind Macca. His second and third efforts on the weekend were something we have been lacking in a ruckman since we had Rehn....and this bloke has so much heart. Thank god we found him before he wasted in the VFL.
