All he need to do ASAP is decide if Bomber is in or out...the Saints are looking at all the names we have thrown up as replacements for Bomber - so if cooky is going to get rid of him he better do it quickly..

Given the calibrie of possible coaches is realitively sh@t he better do it very very quickly or else Damian Drum may be making a comeback to coaching ranks!

Its simple really Cook - either bomber is In or Out and you can spend the rest of the summer reviewing all the other meaningless junk!

Ummm.. what results are you talking about? and at what point did I say that my "knowledge" is essential to them getting a new coach?

My point is simply - if they are going to replace the coach <not saying they should or shouldnt> - if we wait too long then these other teams may be picking guys who we could have got.

I agree Budda230..have spoken to a Geelong staff member doing fund raising a few days ago who kept making mention of the current poor culture and the fact that he felt a new coach was needed.

I assume he wasnt too close to the action but for a Geelong Fc Staff member to be saying he thinks we desperately need a new coach becuase something is really not right down there probably leads me to think we are talking heavily behind the scenes

Maybe cooky is trying to cover all bases - if we cant get a sumich, Long or Cress then maybe we will settle for bomber for another year.

Guess we would look silly if we booted bomber and none of Geelongs perferred canditdates wanted the job.

No one will touch him. The Saints now say he was never on their short list even though they reportedly interviewed him. It may go away, but not soon enough.
