Sure they remain active while Mobbs is cracking the whip but around the league in a wider capacity we don't see much of them.

I'm not trying to have too much of a crack at Mobbs here. He has a life and can't be 100% committed. Those that are just playing as a Mobbs sheep and not to promote the Roys league wide should have a good hard look at themself.

Many posters have tried to gain the posting essence of the Mobbs, and that is exactly what you have succeded in doing Juggs Trying.

Having said that considering the efforts of Mobbs, Fred and Broken to the league as a whole, I'd say The Roys are one of the bigger contributing teams outside the match threads. ..

I've been told that we need to be seen as active to get in the league, but where does an expansion team get to be active , we have juggs stating that teams need to be more active outside outside of their own match threads and then we have clay stating it is all about the match threads. What would everyone expect to see from the new teams in terms of activity to improve their chances of getting into the SFA. I have been simming matches for almost two months now but they are against voiceless opponents so our banter is only between team mates. I have so far created one media thread and will follow suit with another later this week, I'm just concerned that for expansion teams generating activity in these initial stages is hard because we don't want to push too hard but we don't want to be seen sitting on our hands.

Push as hard as you like Mannum, what's going to make it better is to make your opposition fear you and your fellow Rats not just the ability to post but post them into oblivion.

all fair to say push hard but there are some who aren't convinced expansion is the way to go, i'm trying to figure out the boundaries of what is enough and what is too much in regards to pushing our case. I want to convince people the swamprats are the real deal not alienate ourselves.

BTW we enjoy and thrive being hated by everyone in fact it's what we love and drives us to perform better

I would like to see Expansion, the teams currently in have been in for a while now and some members are probably a bit scared their current club could go the way of the dinosaurs, which is a fair worry but they should remember most of the current clubs were also expansion clubs.

I'm all for new teams and always have been. Don't worry about boundaries, activity etc, just get going and let things develop from there.

MannumPower - We all probably have differing opinions on what makes a good contribution to the SFA but without the match threads this wouldn't be the SFA and that is why most of us are here. ..

As for expansion, I'm all for it. .. Especially one like yours which appears to be bringing in mostly outsiders. .. The only exception being that it is another club based team which brings its challenges. .. Ultimately you can just do what your doing and hope the administration gives you the nod. ..

At some point you might want to do some stats on your teams posting in your 'team-match' thread to make sure your numbers are still good. .. Maintaining a strong list needs constant monitoring and often requires some new recruits to top up for those that drop away. ..

Tell you the truth most of my bagging came prior to this week and i must say I am impressed with the efforts from Roys FC this week. whether it stays remains to be seen.



Pretty much what I stated above, I guess I just don't want to see the Roys come and go like the MOD squad did. But I am sure Fred won't allow this to happen again
