I hate Dream Team - Do you?

Week 1 has barely begun and:

-Raines out
-Anthony out
-For some reason I have Heath Shaw (I blame DT site and my own stupidity)
-No Wade Thompson (who knows when he will get a game?)
-No Mitch Robinson (tried to swap Beams for him but Dt site died)
EDIT: Oh and Hodge might be suspended (Didnt see it)

Who here is fed up already?

I have Anthony and Raines, most people do.

It's one of the more interesting (and funner) parts of the game. Just like any real coach, you have to deal with bad luck. The ones who handle it best will come out on top.

Its whoever can adjust best, everyone especially bigfooty people are very disppointed about losing Raines and Anthony and for alot not picking up Robinson instead of Beams, which does not worry me one little bit.

This is where this game is won and lost whoever can adjust the best with their trades regarding Raines and Anthony. Im also disappointed in my captain not being picked.

Do you mean you didn't pick a captain or vice, or was he not selected to play?

I have Raines and Anthony but I'm not hating DT........yet

Hill is in my reserve defenders so I can play him instead of Raines for a while. Hopefully Raines comes back within a month or so.

The injury to Anthony is unfortunate as I am starting 2 midfield rookies and he was going to be in the mix every week. I won't trade him for a while as I will back 2 of Beams, Robinson and Rich to get a game each week. I might trade Anthony before the first price rise to another midfielder (ie. possibly Otten) before he rises in price.

The injury to Anthony is annoying but it may prove to be a very good thing for DTers. Mid season most of us start looking for ways to cash in on our midfield cash cows if they have started to slow, and Anthony will be a very good way to do so providing he comes back fit and pushing for selection from about round 5 or so. I know that's what I'll most probably be doing.

Hodge could've at least gotten a decent score and be reported. Just rubbing salt into the wounds. I would say around 90%+ of the teams would have at least one of Raines or Anthony so they will be forced to use an early trade too.

This year seems to be a lot harder in regards to picking a gun team right from the start. The people who do well will be the ones who have things go for them early and who make the right decisions early.
