So in a season from hell I think Darcy Moore has been so encouraging.
Darcy is my positive and the only thing getting me through this season now.
We forget this guy has played less then 20 games, it sometimes feels he is one of the more mature guys and we expect more but 20 games is nothing.
I'm loving the way he is progressing and finds a way to kick his 2 or 3 a week even when we are getting flogged.

Just received in the mail my new footy jumper (one of the indigenous ones, I think they look great) and for the first time in over 25 years I've put a number on the back, #30. I'm literally backing this kid all the way!

The lad has played less than 20 games and is our leading tall forward, unbelievable, doing so well for what we're giving him.

Fasolo a bit stiff I reckon, in his last 18 games he's kicked close to 50 goals or something, in really ripping form and a clear shining light.

Reid has also been fantastic, obviously his shoulder is a tad sore at the moment, but to get through as many games as he has, and to have looked great in the process, really another positive.

A few extra positives worth mentioning.

Imagine if we were playing well and winning, Moore would be unstoppable. Good on him, and thank the lords he bleeds black and white otherwise he might be out the door at the drop of the hat.

Yeah your right there is other positives .. Josh smith has been mentioned and I totally agree.
I kind of started the thread one to talk about Darcy because he is becoming a real fav of mine and two this site needs a bit more positivity- been a bit depressing so far .

Great thread blackwhite2010 :thumbsu:

Just today my ex boss (Carltoooooon) told me Moore would be a gun!

Just take it easy with all this positive stuff or PieBeast might come along and knee cap you :D

The numbers he got Saturday were much better. I'd like to see him continue this season to get around the dozen possessions, 5/6 marks. The goals will come with it.

He is definitely a shining hope.

Individually there are actually a lot of reasons to be excited about this Collingwood team.

As a collective? Not so much.

Moore is great to watch. Does a few things every game that just read - future star.

Fas for mine is the bug positive, I just hope he can continue on and kick 50 goals for the season.

Faz has been terrific. At the start of the year they where probably hoping for 60-80 goals from Cloke/Elliott/Swan (currently less than 5) but Faz has been left to carry the load with cameo's from Darcy. Would have been nice to see a complete forward line :( but he's relishing his time as the man.

Hear hear! Loved some of his kicking into the forward 50 this year, he can hit a forward on the tit, something our mids struggle to do!

As part of the Aish trade, the Lions held out for the Saints second round pick rather than ours. Woo Hoo.
That's a win, (so far) well spotted!

Reid has been ok and not injured.
Adams was getting better until he got injured.
Fasolo is better.
Varcoe has been great when not injured.
Sidebottom went to a new level on Anzac Day.
