We played crap and won.
Was clearly tired and flat after last weeks travel and won the last quarter which was very important.
And beat a side although injury hit , is playing it's best footy and were up and about for them.

- Nathan Foley

- Edwardes last quarter.

- Winning after a short break and coming back from Perth.

- Winning a close game against a side giving it 100% full of confidence after hitting the front.

- Richo to still come back into the side.

- Our backline starting to look very honest.

- Slim finals chances still alive.

- Beating ESSENDON. :D

We got nothing from our key forwards in Jack and Cleve yet still managed to break 100. Not only that but we managed to fight back after getting overran in the 3rd quarter. Finally we played a pretty poor second half and managed to squeak out a win, a few weeks back against the Crows we just rolled over and took it up the backside.

You want positives? Morton, Morton, Morton.
Brown-like in some of the stuff he did yesterday. We whinge and complain about some of our draft blunders, but pick No 35 for this kid was the bargain of the decade.
Reminds me more and more of Steve Johnson every week, you just don't know what he is going to do, if he will play on and snap on his left and line it up.
But **** me he knows how to score

Also while they arent superstars our 3 key backs atm Thursfield, McGuane and Moore all showed they can play on talls or smalls.

good point that has got lost in all the hysteria, these three ar forming the cornerstone of a very good back half...Moore and Mcguane had 33 touches bw them and thursty was back to his spoiling best...thought he actually played better v the bombers this time than last...a good base to work with down there :thumbsu:

Huge positive was I managed to make sure Goldie didnt get run over in Punt Rd hailing a cab at 7pm, swaying liek a palm tree ina hurricane! Was twice almost a mascot on the Clifton Hill bus! Yes you werre missed Iddy but we got em across the line in your absence and there will be nexy times. Maybe you and Harv are Jonahs? lmao

2 huge postives from yesterday were the come from behind win after a 6 day break from WA and the fact that for about the fourth week running someone different stood up and went to a new level. This week it was Brownie and Bojangles boys, M&M and Whitey. All superb. I am impressed that we have so many options these days and its not left to the same old few, our depth is really developing now.
