Not taking it very well on the Hawthorn forum, even the moderators are getting in on the shit kicking.

They don't like getting beaten, obviously, but some of the crap coming from there is laughable. If not for Franklin, there have been games in the last few years where they wouldn't have beaten us, and last year, really shouldn't have beaten us at all. Guys like Breust, Suckling and Puopolo are great kicks, but they're frontrunners. It says it all when a guy comes out of the two's, due to injuries, (all we heard about was Hill and Sewell, never mind we've got 15 guys on the injury list, a lot of which would be first 22 under normal circumstances), and shuts two of them down. And then the audacity to claim when they were played off the park in 2007, that we pulled them down to their level, is a bit much. Game on from now on. See, Hawthorn, in not quite the same way as Geelong, but similar, don't worry me. We'll either beat them or go down by not a whole lot. I know they're pissed over the game, but boy do they talk a lot of shit.

I was just being selfish in saying that. It's been a long time since I've attended a North Melb final.

In any case, we need to focus on winning more than one game in a row before dreaming of going all the way.

I'd almost rule it out completely if not for the fact Daniel Wells is yet to return.

I wasn't meaning 'we' would go all the way (that is fantasy at this stage), i'm saying any team.

The week off for two of the top teams is massive I reckon after a long season.

A home final would be great to be able to watch it, but i'd definitely take 4th even if it meant a trip somewhere....
