Last night I got a PM from Dillon aka Temploar.

As Magpie Girl knows I am very concerned as I have tried to reach out to him via bigfooty to see if he is ok.

Calling out to anyone that knows more about him than me. All I have is his address.

If you’re reading this Dillon let us know you’re ok please.

So do I Soups I am at a park with the wife and kids and I have a sick feeling in my stomach and it has nothing to do with yesterday’s game.

Hopefully he just drank himself into a stupor. Not like the rest of us didn’t consider it. Avoiding the online environment also understandable. Fingers crossed you’re ok, Dillon.

I was in a daze walking out from the G and thought it was later.

I checked yesterday when he last posted as I realised he had been absent during grand final week - 21st September. Can only echo the sentiments of their posters that I hope he is OK. I don't know the details of the PM but from what I know of Temploar I am not sure how he would respond to a visit from the police. Only CFC would know the urgency of the situation.

As had been said already. If you let us know what suburb he lives, maybe one of us is near by and could offer to drop over. Might be better than Police, especially if he's just taking a break from BF like a lot of Pies supporters are probably doing right now.

In my experience (I’m a forensic psychologist) police doing welfare checks is often an unwanted and in fact more damaging thing to inflict upon individuals who for whatever reason are withdrawing from society, they often have strong feelings of vilification from authority figures and/or organisations such as the police. Besides, these blokes were doing a “welfare check” and look how that panned out:

From memory I think he lives somewhere around Geelong or the outer suburbs of Geelong, if you can’t find a friend or someone known to him on here or wherever I’d suggest perhaps trying the local Salvos or community mental health program to do the check rather than cops
