bla bla bla its a one off bla bla bla we need to give them more time bla bla bla the players are better than that bla bla bla we can still make the finals bla bla bla.

Still the same old same old, it's as obvious as the nose on your face, yet people still like to live in la la land. Or should that be bla bla land....

go back to bed with ya mum :thumbsu:

I have calmed down a bit, but I'm still scratching my head.

Plough is probably too stubborn to drop McMahon. Polo would make him look like the softest defender to ever put on a richmond jumper.
How Polo was not picked in that game is beyond me. He'll probably go down the - they need to reedeem themselves rubbish.

How the coaching staff thought that shane edwards could play off half back flank is beyond me. My wife was watching the game and said that Edwards looked like a little boy amongst men.

After the game wallace was asked what he said to the playing group after the game. His answer was something like : Nobody is in the mood to talk at the minute. The players need to say things to each other.
If that is the case then what is the point of wallace being there? Too confuse the players with a game plan they are not equipped for?

Nah, still haven't really calmed down.

absolutely. teams get smashed in round 1. get over it and move on - it happens. i was angry now i wait in anticipation to see how the boys will handle it.

The problem is, if we just simply "get over it" the problems will never be addressed. They sure as hell better have addressed this over the weekend, because now it is well and truly time to look at the next game.

How are we ever going to be a great team again when every time we play in front of more the 75,000 people our players choke. If these issues aren't dealt with by the time we are a team making finals we're just going to be a come and go team, never a threat to take seriously.

The preformance was on a par for insipidness with the early season loss to the Kangaroos last year and it took two weeks for us to turn that around and start to win some games. I thought the first 15 minutes of the game we were looking fairly good, winnng the ball out of the centre. But 4 blatant errors you wouldn't expect from an amateur team all made by senior or key position players let them in for four goals. Once they started to win the centre breaks, that and the combination of those basic skill errors sapped our confidence. What was the most dissapointing thing for me is that the team seemed to give up altogether in the last quarter, along with the added kick from being belted in round 1 and against carlton.

But I expect there will be a big increase in intensity this week, if not in skill level as the cats will try to poor on the pressure (although I would expect less blatant skill errors from players like Simmonds and Deledio). The following week I see us matching up better against the bulldogs as they don't apply as much pressure.
