AFL Club
Carlton
i've noticed he has been named in the best just about every week for the ants. just want to know if anybody thinks he would add anything to our list for next year? he's 23yo is he to old to rookie list?

Inside mids who are slightly lacking in leg-speed department:

Bentick
Pfieffer
Hadley

why would we want another?

Why not it's only the rookie list. If it didn't work it doesn't matter.

Beg to differ with that one. There could be a gem waiting for us to draft him via the rookie draft. I say keep as many rookie spots available for drafting as we can. Proof of this is AJ, Jamo and even Carrots. :thumbsu:

We've got two Irish boys filling spots on the rookie list next season.

Some players are just better VFL than AFL.

David Teague was a classic......Ross Young another as ODN points out.

Guns at VFL level but not up to AFL.

Iacobucci may be worth a punt, but only as the last pick in the rookie draft if NOTHING else was available.

Look at our rookies this year - Joseph, Jacobs, Garlett......even Bentley has contributed at senior level, Pfeiffer has shown some ability and Ellard, if only he was a bit taller, would be ahead of Iacobucci too.

Just can't see it.

Carrots also was a reject from another club - was delisted of the Cats rookie list before we picked him up. Same thing happened to Porplyzia who didn't debut till 21 after being delisted and picked up again by the Crows.

Not overly keen on Iacobucci but I wouldn't begrudge him a spot on the rookie list.

how smooth is the juddster, luv the man
should we annoit him as the successor to ratts....lets not fall behind the new trends
better still, lets set the trend and bring back the playing coach....

Trained with North Melbourne pre-season IIRC and wasn't taken with a rookie pick there either, as good as he is at Bullants level (he's the skipper isn't he?) i think his chances of playing AFL have passed him by.

Bit tough on Teague i reckon.
Pretty good player with 2 clubs and a B&F with the blues.
No player considered to be a better vfl player than an afl player wins an afl B&F.

Ha Ha we have a pretty good list in depth why put a VFl Player in it are you having a joke.

There is only O'keffe,Tiller on the list to show something while Edwards,Hartlett have probably had their chances while Bannister over 27 is most likely done.

The rest are kids who can play a bit or good players with players like Hadley,Cloke and Bentick who are depth players who are handy at times.
