Ice Cream/Ice Blocks...

When cooling down over summer, What Ice Cream or Ice Block do you reach for at the shops...?

Personally, I'm a Chocolate Paddle Pop fan...

If I'm out and about, A Paddle Pop represents great value...

Second to the humble Paddle Pop, It's gotta be a Golden Gaytime...

As for ice blocks...Give me a super humble Icy-Pole, or the new Life Saver ice-blocks...Maybe even a Sunny Boy if they're available.

Your thoughts...(BTW, I'm talking pre-packaged single products, not buckets or tubs...)

This summer I've become a fan of the Lifesaver Iceblocks. They're fantastic!

And yes, Golden Gaytimes are great but I rarely find them around.

Also there was a new paddle pop ice block this year in a spiral shape - watermelon (pink & green) on the outside, peach (pale orange) on the inside. Very nice.

The old Pine/Lime Splice is still a fave too.

At the moment I'm into Pine/Lime Splice.

I also like Gaytimes and Monaco Bars

As for icecream in a cone, I like Cookies N Cream, Mint Choc Chip and Boysenberry Swirl, from either Wendy's or New Zealand Icecream.

If I go the low fat road I like Wendy's Chocollo.

Banana Paddle Pop or Vanilla Choc Wedge for me.
I still like Sunny Boys but the only time I see them is in the cheapskate's showbag at the local Ag Society Show Day. Can you still get a free Sunny Boy or Razz if you see the word FREE inside the wrapper like when I was a kid?

We always have cool-pops in the freezer at work. Frozen cola cordial...mmm

yeh when i was going to school we used to live on sunny boys (the green ones r the best) and stupid safeway sold them, but not frozen!
so we used to go there after school and hide a few under the peas, and go there the next day and pick them up and replace them with melted ones, and go there the next day.... hehehe it was good stuff!

I occasionally eat a golden gaytime but never around my mates, for obvious reasons.

I used to be a sunnyboy fan, but in year 7 one of my mates pegged one at me and a black eye was the result.

I'm a huge chocolate Billabong/Paddlepop fan and dont mind a Trumpet/Drumstick.

I used to always buy this icecream that was shaped in 3 fruits of Strawberry, Lemon and Orange - anyone know what it was called?

This is my favourite by a mile as well.

For icy poles - you can't go past the Life Saver ones, with the Sunny boys a close second.

For those that want to know, you can buy Sunny boys in most supermarkets, they are usually in the aisle that sells ice cream cones, ice-cream topping, naturally you have to take them home and freeze them yourselves.
