That's correct folks, the 3rd player to make it to 600 games is none other than iDon from the Baghdad Bombers. The odds of someone from this club making it to this many games would have been a "write your own ticket" bet, and yet here we are, ready to celebrate a remarkable story of longevity and success.

It seems the random Sim actually might be random after all, 599 games and it is still to decide if iDon is a winner or loser ... a question that may or may not be answered on Sunday during his 600th appearance.

iDon has won 6 titles with the Bombers and unlike almost all of his teammates over the journey, he has not spent even one night in Banhammer. Unfortunately, over 90% of his former teammates are currently unable to provide us with testimonials to help celebrate his milestone.

A club stalwart, iDon doesn't speak often, yet when he does, the youngsters all crowd around and listen to the words of wisdom that can only be imparted by someone who has lost more team mates than most will ever have.

Spending the latter years of his career in the forward pocket, iDon bobs up with clutch moments when they are needed most, and is content to let others shine when they are not ... both on and off the field.

As is his custom, we can probably only expect a post welcoming everyone to the event and another thanking everyone for their contribution at the end of the thread. Rather than emulate the great mans brevity, we encourage you to share your iDon memories and well wishes in as many posts as you see fit, given the grandness of the occasion.

I woke up this morning and thought, did I post some rant about Donald Trump, Elon Musk or told a few pies fans that they need to temper their expectations after last night but HERE WE ARE.

Great surprise.

Been a fun time in the SFA, yes I'm not the biggest poster but do enjoy scrolling the match day threads and seeing the banter. From where it was when I started to where it is now it's a total change in landscape. Probably credit to a few bombers that really pushed the boat out and blurred the line between banter and the rules (yeah same way overstepped the mark and nearly got the bombers cancelled) but we survived.

Yeah it's SFA and it doesn't mean much to move around clubs but pretty happy I've stuck fat with the bombers. Absolute love the club and the players that have come and gone, some making other teams strong someone being sent into the abyss for ever for being a little too edgy. But through it all us bombers have been memorable.

Ive probably reaches my yearly words quota so I'll shut the trap. And look forward to bobbing up in the pocket this week. Maybe the Captain might sling me into the guts to wind the clock back hehe.
