No..as just said in another thread...2 knee injuries has made him a hack...although I will say he still has the ability to get the ball and have impact. Just won't get the chance to fulfill his potential (could prove me wrong)...hope Cogs doesn't struggle the same way. But pick 52 sounds right to me considering the knees.

I like how it played out...would have liked Tankton to give up pick 1, but maybe we did enough for them to give up Kennedy and WC gave us MMorton for 35 insead of pushing for 18 or 19. The PSD will be interesting though to see what comes up there.

Not drafted McMahon, I reckon we could of picked him up in the PSD. But if J Brennan drops there I'll be very satisfied!

gee you really are full of it

while there are some really great tigers supporters, it cases like this where you somehow assume that you played a part in the chris judd deal.

The deal that west coast accepted was offered ages ago. if you had such a big role to play then why is he not playing for you guys? after all you did have pick 2.

give it a rest guys, we got who we wanted you got players you wanted, enough said

I would have given pick 19 for M morton and pick 35 for Jordon Mcmahon

?????? Who cares we did good

I'm happy with what we did, the only thing i think we could have done different wa gone after juDD straight away instead of after he had made up his mind, if we had of showed interest first instead of shying away we might have him instead of carlton!!!! but maybe the price was too high anyway!!! 1.4 million a year is way too much for a players!!!

I think that's the point exactly Nut... ideally we tried to trade Schulz for a second rounder that could be passed on to the Bullies. The trade didnt happen, so we were left with pick 19 to give them.

If we didnt give the Bulldogs pick 19, it wouldve gone to WCE for Morton. Either way, it was going unless we could get something for Schulz.

we wanted pick 16 (Port Adelaide) for Schulz and they said stick where the sun don't shine.

By and large, the trade period is for shifting either fringe or problem players around. (Judd is the obvious exception). You are not going to build a premiership team during this week.

All things considered, we did OK. Added some (sorely needed) skill without too great a cost.

We wanted Port to give us pick 28 AND upgrade our pick 19 to pick 16. Port didn't want to downgrade their first rounder.
