..and we win tomorrow night, will you book flights straight away, do you already have flights booked, are you assured of a GF ticket?

I'm in a quandary. Especially as I'm not a gold member this year, no guarantees I can get a ticket if we beat the pies..and do I fork out the big bucks for flights later in the week and a GF ticket. Can I live with myself if I miss another Hawthorn GF win? It's simple if we lose, some tough choices if we win.
What are people's plans based on a Hawk win tomorrow night?

I'm a gold member so I'm flying over regardless of cost if we win. You should know by monday if you were successful in the Ballot so wait till then. Might cost you an extra $100-$200 but at least you won't have blown $1200 to go to Melbourne and watch it at Glenferrie Oval.

I;m a priority 1 and I Booked my flights tonight. I just paid the extra coin so I can transfer the flights to another time within the next 12 months if I dont need to use them next week. Jetstar made me pay an extra $17 each way for the convenience which isnt so bad.

I've upgraded for next year, am a gold member for 2012. I cheekily asked for an upgrade this year but no joy.
That's good advice CaptainCrawf, I'm from Melbourne so I get back there a few times a year so I'll keep that in mind.

Shift my Crimmins flight forward a week. Spend the following week celebrating our 11th flag, or, sulking in a gutter in lennox st ;)

haha, not sure that will work. I'll have one day of celebrations if we win the GF and I'm there - still have to be back in Perth by Sunday night to fly to site Monday morn. Then back for the Crimmons.. racking up the FF!
It's all still an 'if' I guess I'm not yet in a quandary but after we win by 14 points tomorrow night I think the cc will take a bashing.. maybe.

Understand the issue. My old man is currently working out the logistics and costs of getting to Melbourne from Bangkok for the weekend, should we beat the pies tomorrow night.

unfortunately I have work commitments in Melbourne on the Thursday prior, and the Monday following, so I am going to have to spend the entire weekend in Victoria.

Oh well.

;)
