The man who tried his guts out every week for his entire career.
The man who showed the same emotions as the most passionate of supporters.
The man who even when surrounded by turkeys, he still managed to soar like an eagle.
The man who would wait around after training until he had spoken to every supporter that wanted to speak to him.
The man who made Richmond games worth going to, even in some of our lowest points.
I remember going to games where the highlight would be Richardson sprinting 150 metres just to take a mark in our defensive 50, that would be the best thing to happen in that quarter.
I remember matches where we'd lose by 10+ goals, but Richo took a screamer and kicked 3 goals, so the loss didn't hurt as bad.
I remember the time he had his eye socket crushed and he was certain to be ruled out the following month, but the next week he was the first bloke out on the ground warming up to play.
I wish he could've played forever...damn you hamstring!!!
Edit: Before anybody starts, this has nothing to do with our current position and this isn't a passive hit out at any of our current players, it's just a toast to Richo cos I still wanna boof him.
Oh and:
Eventually everybody loved him. Who didn't want him to win the 2008 brownlow?
