I'm interviewing a Carlton player tomorrow.

Got some links through the club and was able to acquire an interview with a Carlton player tomorrow for my VCE media project (a documentary).

Because we're playing on the Friday it'll be a player that isn't playing.

It's quite nerve racking, but with a bit of luck it could be 1AW .

Definitely pumped, but scary at the same time.

If you want i might be able to chuck in a question for you guys. Just think of the boys who aren't playing this week and if i'm lucky enough to get them then i'll look to add them onto the end of my interview.



Added to this, at the game tomorrow i'll be looking to get some supporter opinions on Ray Chamberlain. And will probably head out before the game, and at half time to ask a few people. Would love to get a few people that don't hold back (i can beep out the swearing if needed). So if you guys are interested i'll probably be out the front of gate 3 with a video camera and a audio recorder.

Actually, I was going to suggest that you ask 1 of the players what they think of Ray Chamberlain as an umpire, but then if they say anything bad they'd be fined $20,000+ and be accused of bringing the game into disrepute, as well as being de-registered for a few weeks by the AFL. And we wouldn't want any of the Carlton players to be missing out on any games now.

I would think half time and 3/4 time around the bars would be the go.

Yeah, nah it's just a personal peice. Even if i somehow managed to get it shown at higher levels once it's been marked i won't be.

Well as my media revolves around Ray Chamberlain (making a mockery of him really) i'll be asking many questions about him.

Questions in regards to the way he talks to players, and specific decisions he's made in the past (i.e. Jarrad Waite punching the ball into the crowd), along with Umpiring and interpretation of the rules just in general. Basically trying to get the player to say something that i could fit in, but also get material that i can work with and edit to my desire.

Well rats has got every player in lockdown basically before tonights game which means no media at all.

Because of this i'll be doing it on Tuesday, with Richard Hadley.

Well Hads was crook and left early, so i was lucky enough to get Brad Fisher.

Was great. Fish is really awesome. It's great to know the club is so open and willing to help out.

So excited. Over the moon to get it done. Definately one of the best things I've ever been able to do.

They were pretty much in regards to umpiring, so not really interesting for you guys but if you want me to i might still later.

They were pretty much scripted, obviously the club has to be careful but i didn't mind. It was still a great experience none the less.
