Maybe this post sould go on the the "Bad Calls" thread...
Anyway I was watching the Coll/Eagles game on foxtel, and boy did the umps stink. All the calls and bad decisions that went against us in round 1 (vs Richmond) were happening to West Coast. Just after 1/4 time I'd counted three marks on or inside 50 (Judd, Wilson and someone else) that weren't paid. I sat back and thought "Oh well, them's the breaks. It looks like we're going to win by heaps, so it won't matter in the end". I went off to babysit my nephew and found out about the final margin that night.
I didn't see the last half, but unless the umps really squared up, you'd have to say they influenced the outcome. Its a real pity when that happens.
I must say I was very impressed by the cheerful way the eagles on this board took the result. You seem to be the least crotchety fans (except when dealing with Dockers).
