Alright, I really need some help. I have two trades left and Salopek out for the season has hit me for six.

Midfield is Dal Santo, Cross, Mitchell, Stevens, Murphy, Salopek (Armitage, Browne)

I'm on concerned about my league, where I'm guaranteed second spot.

What do I do about Salopek?

The options seem to be:

1. Play out season with Browne/Armitage and in second week of finals, downgrade a cash cow and upgrade Salopek to Ablett or similar.

2. Downgrade Salopek to Boak or Thomas and hope they have big finishes to the season. Then use remaining cash on last trade. (again, obviously in second week of finals)

Boak is an interesting one. Might get more midfield time with Salopek out. Leaning towards option 2 because I also have Purgoyne in the side, who may need removal.

I'd do option 1, leaving you a trade for the inevitable injury that occurs just before your grand final match.

How much cash do you have left in the bank now? Who else is currently in your midfield?

Definately look at holding off on your trades as late as possible, if you've already sealed up the double chance then there is no rush to use them just yet.

You can now do a straight trade from Salopek to Thompson or Cooney. I'm going to do that I think and leave one trade for injuries.
