Thats no guide. He is always relaxed.

Our anxiety more than makes up for Brad's relaxed attitude. I'd rather be told the worse case scenario (e.g. Wells 4 weeks) and be pleasantly surprised when he returns early than be strung along with ''1 week'' and ''to be tested'' messages.

I know! I'm a worrier.

Could be dangerous, but Brad sounded really relaxed about it in the media this week.

It's amazing what knocking over some bogey sides interstate, and the now top side, can do for a coach's demeanour.

You know, the press conference after the Sydney win was the first time I have ever heard Scott respond in the positive to the question "are you happy with that game/performance/whatever?". In the past he has always said something along the lines of "well, a coach is never happy there are always things to work on...". But he admitted he was happy after Sydney and "ecstatic" after Friday night. I think he's had his eye on those two games for a while.

Didn't he make some comment last week that it was stood on at training?

Correct me if I'm wrong.

If that's the case, it may just be bruised and sore.

Yep and he added ".....and you wouldn't believe it but it happened again during the game on the weekend and he played on in pain."

Not lies,I rate tarrant. Think he could be immense with an injury free run and more games. He smashed tigers last year. More of that thanks taxtax
I was joking, hence the over-elaborate description of how I would express it.

The issue for me is that now we have Maj in the side and he might improve. Unless Petrie chooses to step aside himself, how does Robbie fit? Then there's me wanting some Wood in the squad.

Gonna be tough.

Wood isn't competing for the same spot and may yet end up a winger, so he will get his chance elsewhere.

I don't ever see Taz playing Drew's role. He isn't strong enough over head and is not half the footballer Petrie is in terms of smarts and body work.

The role he has been playing is probably his ceiling, which
Is fine, because we have really missed that role.

Can Maj take it to another level and give Goldy that neccessary chop out? Hopefully.

i saw on the news on monaday night that Goldy was going in for scans!!! Any news on that???

Gibbo said in the 10 interview that it was his quad. Didn't seem to be serious.

Worst case scenario he misses this week, and Currie comes in to play as a ruckman only. No big deal.

thanks for that!! i think Eric Wallace would do a better job than Currie at the moment!!!

Cruize would have been getting games in front of Jacobs, Siera and probably Greenwood last year if he had stuck around.
