Looks like Shultz has done his ACL.
Fingers crossed he is ok, and not as bad as it looked.

This will seriously hurt Ports finals aspirations this year...if that's what they were hoping for.

Their captain (Cornes?) stated they were aiming for a finals berth. I could see that as possible, they just needed to clinch the 50/50 matches that they lost a lot of last year. This won't help them. In fact, a man down like this against Collingwood who was already obliterating them is not good. Today's game is going to get downright gnarly.

Triple M seem confident that it isn't his ACL so I guess that's something. Never good to see somebody go down with serious injury, especially considering the progress that Shulz has made over the last 12 months or so.

He's been cleared of an ACL and it most likely is a medial.

Better news..Fox just confirmed it is a Medial Ligament...
Still not great and he will miss a fair amount of footy..

Thank christ it is not an ACL, poor bloke. Had a pretty good season last year and was looking likely to improve on it this year, hopefully he can get himself right and back on the park soon.
