Just wondering on the extent of any injuries we have. I only really know of Walker but apparently Hampson is injured and Bannister did a hamstring?

I think we should keep an injury list sticky or something to keep everyone up to date.

e.g
Name - Injury - Expected Return*
A. Walker - Shoulder - Rnd 10-12

*to full fitness as obviously some players won't just go straight into the senior side.

So then Hoops didn't choose to have surgery on his hip problem? If he has the surgery, he'll be out for about 6-8 weeks?

Hampson is close, but not sure he'll come back in, not sure on the extent of Banno's hammy, should be fit to play this weekend though (although, would prefer a 7 or 8 day break, not a 6 day break).

Gibbs is the other injury, but if he's fit, he'll come straight back in.

i wonder what the extent of gibblets injury is though.. hopefully some light is shed on it in the coming days :(

whats the go with walker atm..before round one i heard he would only b a few weeks out but hes still listed at indefinate last time i checked..i really think we'r missing his pace..especially against essendon i think he may have provided the speed to quell lovett who ultimately turned the match.

Walker is reported to be ahead of schedule, which had him pencilled in for a R12 return, as a best case scenario, I'd say R10, but I wouldn't play him until he's 100% fit, then goes through the reserves to get match fitness and sharpness back and earns a spot in the seniors

I'm told Hoops is 6-8...unfortunately.

That's what I understand too, Hoops 6-8, but I was under the impression that the 6-8 came with surgery/rehab, if he continues to play through the pain, he could be right to go in a week or two

I was told last night that he is having surgery.

Fair enough, but as you know, many people make bold statements on here, with many of them turning out not to be true, and although, I'm not sure on your record with stating these kind of things, but I'll wait until CFC confirm it, but I believe having the surgery is his best option.

I know these things happen. There is nothing bold about my statement...it is just what I was told and I'm sharing it.

I hope him a speedy recovery and perhaps with the spurs gone he can be back to his best for the second half of the season.

He will be having surgery on Thurs and will be out 8-10 weeks. In case you missed it I'll post again what he told someone I know:

He has two spurs on his hip which cause bone to rub on bone. He’s had this problem now for two years and has required regular injections to enable him to play in all but one of every possible game over that time. He will be having arthroscopic surgery and they will shave off the spurs and clean his hip out. He’s been told that he will be out for 8-10 weeks but will work as hard as he can to get back earlier.

No doctor, but isn't that pretty much what Kreuz is in risk of developing?
