If you are Tunbridge and have any designs on continuing an AFL career you have to go the LARs option. A 6 month rehab instead of the usual 12 has him potentially pushing for selection mid 2017. Only hope is to force his way in and make an impression at the pointy end of the season.

I pasted this in the Preseason thread, but makes more sense here, looks like it is a genuine option for the reasons you make reference to.
