What's up with Bartram? Considering him for my DT - will he be sighted before round 1?

And how goes Mclean?

I wouldn't be picking up Bartram for DT, even if he does get a game, he was never a high pos getter. If Petterd is cheap I'd snap him up in a second, 1st year player ave 15 pos a game. Apart from him, the more expensive Dees, probably Jones and Bruce would be my picks. Remember that the Dees as a team don't win alot of ball, so I wouldn't be keen to load up on us. Wlidcard could be Lynden Dunn. He'll be ready for a big one we all suspect.

Yes - but given he got 25 in his 1 game in 2008, he is going to be dirt cheap. fanfooty has him at about 20k higher than a first year player - and given if fit, he's likely to play most games, will be good insurance to have on the bench.

Good on you for looking out for Bartram, but he's just too injury prone.

Id like us not to take any chances with bringing wrecker back early and instead put him on the long term injury list and elevate valenti.

If Bailey stands by playing only our guys that are 100% fit then it will probably take at least 6 weeks to see him out on the field anyways

This might be a dumb question but how long does a player have to remain on the long term injury list for? Is there a minimum requirement?

Thats a strange one, not sure if many knew about it, but its good to see most of our guys are going well, and some might not be 100% by round one but it beats having them missing large chunks of the season before it has even started.

Didn't Connolly say(on SEN) that Grimes is close to joining in on full training? and that we were just being extra carefull with him?

I know that at training he does alot of running so that's a good sign

but i don't thibnk he does alot of kicking....

So we could possibly have a full strength side in against Hawthorn barring injury in the remaining practice game? Wow.
