I'd give Davies one last chance before his rookie demotion is up for question (he or Fanning will go when Bucks comes back). Morrison has been reasonable for us but should be punished for a week for poor disposal.

Davies was one of the few listed players named in the best for Willy this week.

I'd drop Egan even if he's not suspended as he needs game time.

Good to see J Cloke and young Harry O'Brien in the best. Also Davidson klicked two, be great to see him back in the ones although he's probably fighting with Rusling for a spot in the seniors.

i think that the player who replaces the injured one has to go back on the injury list not any other one but could be wrong.

Yep. I really don't want to fly all the way to Melbourne to see Woewodin playing.

For mine, Johnson and Iacobucci/Davies (preferably Iacobucci, but if Davies' form for Willy was good then give him a run) for Woewodin and Morrison. If Egan goes, possibly keep Morrison, or play both Iacobucci and Davies. Ordinarly I'd definitely go with the two kids, but I'd be loathe to make too many changes when we're on a roll.

People are talking about Johnson as a backline player, but what about using him on Nathan Brown off the Melbourne half-back line. For my money, he's just about the most damaging player they have.

Given that our tall backline is likely to stretch Melbourne's defense to the point where Bizzell and Rivers will have to be pretty accountable for their opponents, the pressure of rebounding the ball will be almost solely on Brown's shoulders...

Ben Johnson to come in for the suspended Chris Egan, while a suprise at selection may be Matthew Lokan. Hasn't played a senior game yet this season, and has been Williamstown's best Collingwood listed player (if not Williamstown's) for the last fortnight.

Chris Egan should be suspended, and certainly will make way for Ben Johnson anyway, while Chad Morrison has got a position that has heat on it, and there are players fighting for it, and he has had two bad weeks and may be chopped. Senior players need to be disciplined (like Shane Woewodin was).

Is Rivers back for Melbourne? If not Melbourne might struggle against our forward line, especially our tall forwards.
Bizzel on Tarrant - Good matchup but Taz thrashed him before. Too quick and strong.
Ferguson on T.Cloke - Ferg is a good kid but will have to lift on T.Cloke.
Nicholson on Rusling - Nicholson is not as bad as some people think but I think he is too slow for Rusling.
I would put Ferg on Ruz but I think Trav would carve Nicho up around the ground.
And what if we decide to put Fraser or C.Cloke down there at the same time? Miller might have to be dragged down back.
But that's if Rivers isn't back, and I think he is back from suspension.

Dont know how he got in the best today, was good old shocking Lokan. Not worthy of a recall, Lonie however would be a good choice for Egan as Lonie belongs on a wing

Rowe was ordinary. He needs to go back to Willi to play full games and we should be setting hioght standards and telling him his disposal has to improve before he gets back into the side. Wowedin has to go. He got some ball but he held up play and his 1 on 1 contesting is terrible. I also like to see Chad Morrison dropped. He's too slow. Egan could also be dropped back to play full games. His impact is minimal.

The problem is we don't enough at Willi to make that many changes. Bring in Yakka for a run. Give Lonie a shot on the wing. Ben Johnson Back. Give Heath Shaw a crack.

It's unlikely there will be that many changes after 3 good wins though.
